Upper Norwood Library Re-Opens!

After a major refurbishment, Upper Norwood Library re-opened in July and is set to go from strength to strength. We were delighted to attend the formal re-opening and see the transformed space for ourselves.

As well as the refurbishment, the library now has longer opening hours and a fantastic array of activities are on offer – there are classes on art, ESOL and digital inclusion, there is a coding club, a teenage debate club and a homework club – and there are outreach sessions for pupils with learning disabilities.

We’re delighted as local councillors to have helped secure the future of the library, with the council working in a strong partnership with the local community.
